Connu sous le nom de « Ballad Prince », il a eu de nombreux succès tels que « Because You’re My Woman », « Will You Marry Me », et « Return ».
Il est diplômé de l’Université Dongguk et a obtenu son diplôme en commerce international le 20 février 2009 et a reçu un prix spécial d’excellence lors de l’obtention de son diplôme. Il a ensuite poursuivi ses études en obtenant deux maîtrises, la théorie du commerce ainsi que les finances et les contenus culturels à l’École supérieure Dongguk.
Le 23 juin 2012, Lee a été l’un des relayeurs du relais de la flamme des Jeux olympiques d’été de Londres 2012 choisi par Samsung.
l a effectué son service militaire du 1er février 2016 au 31 octobre 2017.
Il a été en couple avec Yoona (SNSD) de septembre 2013 à juin 2015.
Le 15 novembre 2020 Hook Entertaiment a publié le MV "The Ordinary Man" Titre de son prochain album qui sortira au mois de Décembre.
Au 31 mai, il met fin à son contrat avec Hook Entertainment pour créer son agence personnelle avec son père. (Info ici)
